Our Vision

We envision a Ferguson where every LGBTQ+ person and ally feels welcomed, respected, valued, safe, and connected.

Through year-round community events, strategic partnerships, volunteerism, leadership and educational opportunities, and accessible community resources; Ferguson Pride seeks to foster meaningful spaces where everyone can belong while supporting the businesses and organizations that strengthen our community.

Catch Up

We invite you to watch our Kickoff Meeting to learn more about who we are, why we are building Ferguson Pride, how we plan to grow, and when.

We would like to extend a special thank you to our incredible hosts from St. Peter's United Church of Christ for welcoming Ferguson Pride in with open arms and supporting our mission from the very beginning.

Another special thank you to Black Pride STL, Pride St. Charles, Tower Grove Pride, Fourth City Sisters, St. Louis LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce, MO State Rep Raychel Proudie, District 73, Ferguson Councilman Jamil Franklin, and MO State House of Representatives candidate Joy Denise Dabney, District 73  for all of your support.

The final 30 minutes of our Kickoff Meeting were devoted to our group conversation, during which we collaborated to discuss key next steps for our six committees. If you haven't already, be sure to follow us on social media (@fergusonpride) to stay up to date on news and upcoming events related to Ferguson Pride, and learn more about how you can get involved.

Most importantly, thank you to all of you who have shown up in person, virtually, on social media, or in spirit so far. Ferguson Pride would not be possible without all of you.

We feel the love, energy, and support, and we invite you and your friends to our next meeting (stay tuned for date/time, beginning of September), to continue building Ferguson Pride together.

Happy Pride, Ferguson. Happy Pride, North County. Happy Pride, St. Louis!
